Sarah Gerats is a multi-media artists, who uses photography and installation in most of her work.She often experiments with reflection and projection and hardly ever presents her works as prints.
These sets of photographs using mirrors is what first caught my eye. Gerat has carefully positioned the mirror, then posed and photographed herself, so that not all of her body is on show. In these images Gerat questions the male gaze and the female body.
